Join us on August 23 for resources, voter education, and celebration in Detroit
As families prepare for the school year, we’re coming together to make sure kids and caregivers have the tools, resources, and confidence they need to thrive. On Saturday, August 23, from 1:00–4:00 PM, stop by 12400 E. 7 Mile, Detroit, MI 48205 for a Back to School Bash filled with support and celebration.
This free community event will feature:
- School supply giveaway to help every student start strong
- Raffle and food for families
- Voter education and registration to keep our communities empowered
- Live DJ and free haircuts for a day of joy and care
It’s more than a backpack giveaway — it’s about making sure families feel supported, connected, and ready for the year ahead.
