VAAC’s next Friday Community Meeting will focus on how artificial intelligence is shaping elections, information, and voter trust.
We’ll be joined by guests from the University of Michigan’s Science, Technology, and Public Policy program, who will present The Vote, The Truth, and AI: How to Spot AI Election Threats, a community zine developed in collaboration with VAAC and the team from U of M, to help voters understand how AI is being used in elections and how to spot election-related misinformation.
For communities already facing barriers to voting, misinformation and deceptive technology can create real harm. This conversation will focus on what these threats look like in practice and how people can protect their right to vote by recognizing false or manipulated information before it spreads.
VAAC Friday meetings are open to directly impacted people, organizers, advocates, and community members across Michigan.
