Thank you to Project Clean Slate for welcoming VAAC to the Expungement Fair at the Mathis Community Center! We were honored to join a day filled with hope, resources, and second chances.
At our table, we shared one essential reminder: you can vote in Michigan even if you have a felony or misdemeanor. Events like this help remove barriers and ensure more people know their rights, strengthening our communities and our democracy.
We loved connecting with neighbors, seeing so many smiling faces, and celebrating fresh starts together.
