October 10th: A Friday Gathering to Strengthen Voting Access and Community Power
Voting Access for All Coalition (VAAC) exists to break down barriers to voting and ensure that every voice in Michigan is heard. We believe that people most impacted by the justice system should be centered in the fight for fair democracy. One of the ways we live that mission is through our VAAC Friday meetings, where directly impacted people, advocates, and allies gather to learn, share, and take action together.

On Friday, October 10, from 12:30 to 1:30 PM, VAAC will host our next community meeting with facilitator Tony Gant and special guests. These conversations are designed to keep our community informed about the latest issues in Michigan—whether it’s legislative debates, policy changes, or efforts to restrict or expand voting access. By coming together, we strengthen our ability to respond, organize, and advocate for a system that truly reflects the will of the people.
Your participation matters. Every person who joins helps build a stronger coalition and keeps the focus on solutions that advance equity and dignity across our state.
Looking ahead: Don’t miss our next Friday meeting on October 17, featuring the Michigan Civil Rights Commission as our special guest.
