Voter Education and Rides to the Polls at Shelters

VAAC is also bringing voter education and transportation assistance directly to people staying in shelters and accessing community resources.

On Friday, October 30, our team will provide voter education and rides to the polls at Elmhurst Home in Detroit and Robert J. Delonis Center in Ann Arbor.

On Saturday, October 31, VAAC will participate in a Halloween event with Redford Brightmoor Initiative in Detroit.

And on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, we’ll provide rides to the polls at Elmhurst Home, a shelter on Warren Avenue, and Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries.

These activities are part of VAAC’s direct voter outreach and are not being listed as open public events. Volunteers participating in these activities should follow the arrangements made with VAAC.
